Hurricane Relief Efforts

At Signature Announcements, we make it our mission to actively contribute to the wellness and prosperity of the communities we serve. That’s why, when the devastating hurricane season of 2004 hit, we took a close look at how we could help in the nationwide recovery efforts.

As part of our ongoing commitment to assisting organizations dedicated to helping those hit hardest by the storms, we’re privileged to have contributed more than $18,000 to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund (link http://redcross.org/) and to the Parent Teacher Association of America’s (link http://www.pta.org/) campaign to help people and schools rebuild their homes and classrooms.

For Signature Announcements, the rewards of giving back are many. After donating $7,000 to the Martin County School District in Stuart, Florida, we received word from Volunteer Services that three elementary schools were able to purchase textbooks, bulletin boards and other important learning supplies lost in the hurricanes.

We’re always looking for ways to help the institutions that help educators, and supporting public libraries plays a big part in this cause. To assist the opening of the largest public library in Florida, Signature Announcements is contributing more than $40,000 in invitations to the Largo Library Foundation. We’re proud that our donation is on par with Bright House Networks, a multi-billion-dollar company, even as we represent less than 1.0 percent of the cable giant’s revenue.
